Flight Behavior, by Barbara Kingsolver
Discussed on Thursday, June 6th, 2013 at 6:30pm

Set in the present-day rural community of Feathertown, Tennessee, this novel tells the story of Dellarobia Turnbow, a petite, razor-sharp but troubled 29-year-old who nurtured worldly ambitions before becoming pregnant and marrying at seventeen. Her subsequent mundane life and self-destructive path are interrupted by her discovery of an unexpected change in the butterfly migration pattern.
