Arduino Scratch Programming Workshop for Teens

Jerry Francl will take his Scratch computer animation workshop to the next level with Arduino, a microcontroller board that allows the programmer to control devices outside the computer.
Go beyond the flat, two-dimensional world of the computer's monitor and control things in the three-dimensional physical world. We'll be programming multi-color LED's, miniature fans, air pumps, servos, and other devices. Bring in your own laptop or use one from the library's laptop lab. For teens going into grades 7-12. Sign up at the main desk, for both workshops or just one.
