Summary:

Sydney, already divorced and widowed and trying to regain her footing, answers the ad of a couple seeking a tutor for their teenage daughter. She ends up spending the summer at their cottage on the New Hampshire coast.

No sooner does Sydney settle into the household routine — acting as something betewen a servant and a family member — than the Edwards' two grown sons show up for a weekend. A real-estate executive and a professor, both are handsome, accomplished, competitive, and completely enraptured by Sydney.
