[photo of the crowd waiting in line for carriage rides] We got a really big crowd and had a lot of fun at our annual Christmas Open House this year. Hopefully you were here. If not, at least have a look through the photo gallery to see a sampling of what you missed. There are photos of the art show and tree, of the carriage rides, of the story time and the crafts, the ice sculptures, gingerbread houses, of our very special storybook guest, and of one of the music performances and the crowd it drew, among other things. You can see all the photos in our gallery.
[photo of gingerbread houses] The 2012 Gingerbread House Contest results are in. There were some really nice entries this year, so don't forget to check them out in the photo gallery.

Fall Book Sale
The Friends of the Library were at it again, collecting and organizing a whole heap of used books and selling them to the public to benefit the library. See the photos from the book sale they held this fall.

Yes, we decorated for Halloween. Some of us even wore costumes. View the incriminating evidence in the photo gallery.

Summer Events
The photos from some of our summer events are finally up now. Besides the summer reading program, we also celebrated the Olympics and hosted a teen game night. Check 'em out in the photo gallery.
Teen Book Trailer World Premier
Some of our teens created trailers to promote their favorite books. On April 26th we gathered to view them all. Check out the photos from this event in our photo gallery.
National Library Week
We had a great time celebrating National Library Week this year. The pictures in our photo gallery don't do it justice (you really had to be here), but you can have a look at them anyway.
Teen Computer Animation Workshop
The library recently hosted a computer animation workshop for teens. We learned how to use the MIT Media Lab's Scratch programming environment to create interactive visual animations. We took photographs at this event, which you can see in our photo gallery.
Teen Chess
The chess club is our longest-running teen program at the library and a perennial favorite. Here are some photographs taken at one of the recent chess club meetings.
